Rainbet’s current self-exclusion process uses an email-confirmed request, a 24-hour cooldown and a subsequent exclusion-duration choice. During an active exclusion, the account is locked and gambling activity is unavailable.
How Rainbet self-exclusion currently works
Request self-exclusion
Rainbet instructs users to open the Responsible Gaming section, select Self-Exclusion and request exclusion.
Confirm by email
The request is activated by following the confirmation link sent to the registered email address.
24-hour cooldown
Rainbet documents a mandatory 24-hour cooldown period after the request.
Select the exclusion duration
After the cooldown, Rainbet sends another email allowing the user to select the exclusion duration. During an active exclusion, the account is locked and gambling is unavailable.
Permanent account closure
Rainbet’s current Help Center states that permanent closure requires completing a 24-hour self-exclusion followed by a 90-day exclusion before contacting support to finalize permanent closure.
Use additional barriers where useful
Self-exclusion can be paired with bank or wallet blocks, device blocking software and independent support. Multiple barriers can reduce the chance of impulsive re-entry.
